Alex Little Design is a small business based in Joensuu, Finland, crafting high quality and unique items from selected woods, emphasizing the natural beauty of the wood in stylish designs.

I've been woodworking since I was about 10 years old and over the years I've built many pieces of furniture, including cabinets, bookcases and tables, alongside gift items. After almost 20 years working in educational technology and mobile learning, I am now focused on my woodcraft, appreciating time working with my hands, creating quality products from natural materials for others to use and appreciate.

I've been based in Joensuu since 2015, after leaving the UK in 2008 and spending time living and working in Ethiopia and Spain.
